Cookies policy
Last updated: 24 September 2025
This Cookies Policy explains how MED IVD HEALTHTECH S.L. (the “Company”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website (the “Site”). It complements our Privacy Policy and Legal Notice.
1) What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that are downloaded to your device when you visit the Site. They allow the Site to recognise your device and store information about your preferences or past actions. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, SDKs, and fingerprinting techniques. Throughout this policy, we refer to all of these as cookies.
2) Who is responsible for cookies on this Site?
- Controller: MED IVD HEALTHTECH S.L., NIF/CIF B67776807, registered address Calle Alejandro Casona 2, Portal 6-3B, San Sebastian de Los Reyes Spain, email contact@mdxcro.com.
- Where third‑party cookies are used, each third party is responsible for its own processing, as described in its privacy/cookies policies linked below.
3) Types of cookies we use
We classify cookies as follows:
- Strictly necessary (technical) — Required to operate the Site or provide services you request (e.g., page navigation, load balancing, security, user session management, cookie consent settings). These do not require your consent.
- Preferences (personalisation) — Remember choices such as language or region. Consent required.
- Analytics/measurement — Help us understand how visitors interact with the Site to improve it (e.g., aggregated usage statistics). Consent required.
- Advertising/behavioural — Enable profiling to deliver and measure personalised ads on this and other websites or platforms. Consent required.
Other dimensions that may apply: first‑party vs third‑party, session vs persistent cookies.
We do not set non‑essential cookies until you have given consent via our banner or settings panel. Consent can be withdrawn at any time (see Section 7).
4) Legal basis
- Strictly necessary cookies: Processing is based on our legitimate interests in providing a functional, secure Site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and on the obligations of the Spanish LSSI (Law 34/2002) which allows their use without consent.
- All other cookies: Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You are free to accept, reject, or configure categories, and to withdraw consent at any time without detriment.
5) Cookies we use
Below is an indicative list. Update it to reflect the exact cookies and technologies in use on the Site.
We use the following categories of cookies:
(a) Strictly necessary to operate the Site and remember your privacy choices;
(b) Preferences to save options such as language;
(c) Analytics to measure usage and improve the Site; and
(d) Advertising to deliver and measure ads where we run campaigns.
Non-essential cookies are used only with your consent. You can accept, reject, or configure categories at any time via “Cookies settings” in the footer.
For the current, detailed list of cookies (name, provider, purpose, duration, and third-country safeguards where applicable), see Cookie details in the Cookies settings panel.
6) Third‑party services
Our Site may integrate content or plugins from third parties (e.g., embedded videos, maps, share buttons, analytics, ad platforms). These third parties may set cookies directly and collect data from your browser.
7) Managing your consent and cookies
- Banner and settings panel: On your first visit, and whenever we materially change our cookies or providers, you will see a banner with equally prominent options to Accept all, Reject all, or Configure. The Configure option opens a granular settings panel where you can enable/disable categories and read more details.
- Withdraw consent anytime: You can change or withdraw consent at any time via Cookies settings on the Site. Your previous choices will be recorded and respected.
- Browser settings: You can also restrict, block, or delete cookies via your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect Site functionality.
- Do Not Track: The Site does not currently respond to DNT signals, but you can control cookies as described above.
Consent lifespan: We will renew the consent request at appropriate intervals, and in any case at least every 24 months, or sooner if there are significant changes to the cookies used.
8) Minors
We do not knowingly use cookies for profiling children under 14 years of age. If you believe a child has provided data via cookies subject to consent, please contact us so that we can delete such data and, where required, obtain parental authorisation.
9) Data retention via cookies
Per-cookie durations. The storage period for each cookie or similar technology is shown in Cookie details within the Cookies settings panel and prevails over any generic information. Durations are expressed as “session”, minutes, days, or months, and may be renewed when you revisit the Site or when you change your preferences.
Aggregated analytics. Data derived from analytics cookies may be aggregated and anonymised for trend analysis and service improvement. Once aggregated in this way, it no longer allows identification of individuals and may be retained for longer than the cookie’s lifetime.
Advertising identifiers. Where advertising/behavioural cookies are enabled, retention follows the periods set by each provider and your choices in the Cookies settings panel. When you withdraw consent, we instruct our tools not to use or read those identifiers going forward. Some providers may retain limited logs for fraud-prevention or auditing in accordance with their own legal obligations.
Proof of consent. We maintain records of your cookie-consent choices (e.g., date/time, choice given, policy/version) for compliance purposes for up to 24 months from the last interaction, or longer if required to demonstrate compliance in the context of a regulatory inquiry, after which they are securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Material changes. If we materially change the cookies, purposes, or providers, we will re-prompt for consent. From that moment, the corresponding retention periods run from the date of the new consent.
10) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use, in our processing, or in applicable law. The updated version will be effective upon publication and indicated by the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated via the banner or by other suitable means.
11) Contact
For questions about our use of cookies or to exercise your data rights, contact contact@mdxcro.com or write to our registered address shown in the Privacy Policy.
